My experience
With more than fourteen years of experience in accountancy, I have built a broad expertise in audit work, financial process design and fulfilling a natural advisory role. My career started at BDO. I then worked at Van der Zwet Accountants en Adviseurs, where I performed both audit and compilation assignments and further broadened my financial knowledge. In 2017, I decided to focus entirely on the auditing practice at Van Wezel Accountants en Adviseurs. There I advanced to manager and obtained my RA title. After obtaining my RA title, I consciously took my time to carefully consider my next career move. My growing interest in internal control and my desire to support socially engaged organizations eventually led me to Vinario. Since May 2025, I have been using my knowledge and experience there to set up risk management systems, strengthen internal audit functions and advise clients on complex financial issues.
What I believe in
I believe in structured work with clear agreements. This creates an environment where everyone takes responsibility and holds each other accountable which ultimately promotes cooperation and goal achievement.
What drives me
I get energy from getting to the bottom of people and organizations. As a people person, I am naturally curious and actively seek out the motives behind choices made or lack thereof. I use these insights to help organizations change in a focused and sustainable way.
